MEET LOU

Singing has taken Lou around the world and led to one of the highlights of her career, playing a dream role in the West End.

Since graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2014, she has worked with leading performers, musical directors and vocal coaches across theatre, film and recording.

Alongside performing, Louise has spent years immersed in the audition and training process... Attending countless auditions herself, sitting on drama school audition panels and assisting in casting for professional productions. These experiences continue to shape the way she works with performers today.

Her coaching combines evidence-informed vocal technique with artistry and a strong focus on sustainable vocal function. Whether working with professional performers, aspiring artists or dedicated singers, every session is tailored to the individual, helping each client build technical freedom, confidence and a healthy, reliable voice.

Louise's journey into vocal coaching began after experiencing voice loss early in her own performing career. That experience transformed her understanding of the voice and inspired an ongoing commitment to vocal health. Since then, she has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in vocal health, rehabilitation-informed coaching and voice science, with a particular focus on helping singers understand their voices as a whole.

Today, every new client begins with a comprehensive Initial Voice Assessment, allowing Louise to build a complete picture of their voice, vocal demands, lifestyle and goals before creating a personalised coaching plan.

MEET ISOBEL SMART

Isobel is a vocalist, guitarist and singing teacher with a Master of Music (Performance & Teaching) from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, majoring in voice, with a specialisation across classical and music theatre repertoire. She also holds a Graduate Diploma of Practical Music (classical voice) from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and a Bachelor of Communications (Media) from RMIT University.

Isobel has taught at some of Melbourne's leading private schools, and now with four years of professional teaching experience, Isobel now runs her own studio, Isobel Smart Vocal and Guitar Studio, alongside teaching at a high school in North London, where she delivers one-to-one singing lessons and directs the school choir. She has also worked closely with children as an assistant band director and senior singers leader at a music school in Fulham, as well as a music program leader at a highly credentialed summer camp in California, USA.

Isobel remains an active performer, gigging in-between appearing in major musicals over the last decade.

She brings a deep understanding of vocal pedagogy to her teaching, including the anatomy and mechanics of singing across a range of styles. She has helped many students develop their tone and smooth the transition between chest and head voice.

Beyond technique, Isobel is passionate about her students' personal growth alongside their vocal development. Her outgoing, enthusiastic and caring approach alongside her performing and teaching experience, makes her a trusted and highly recommended voice teacher for singers of any age or ability.
